Taking his chance at the popular 'kiddie-casino'; Dave & Busters in Orange. Parents buy prepaid cards which are swiped to play the games. This boy was given $30.00 from his parents. By the end of the hour he 'earned' over 2000 tickets, which were traded in for small flashlight at the prize counter.

It broke on the way home.

Backstage at The Pageant of the Masters, Laguna Beach.

This years show comes to an end this week. If you haven't seen it, I urge you to try to get tickets for one of the last shows. It's worth it!

This is one of the little pieces of beauty in Orange County I had in mind when I started OC Daily Photo.  It is one of the cherubs on the carousel at The Irvine Spectrum.

I snapped this picture one morning outside The Filling Station in Old Towne Orange. I love the old phone in front and you can just see a spot of reflected red from the car. This was the shiniest car I have ever seen. I had to search the hood ornament to find out it was a Rolls Royce.

This is not a tree.
Huntington Beach, CA

It's a cell phone tower. They try to beautify them
in southern Cali by disguising them as trees.

What cracks me up is this one
is in the middle of a bunch of industrial
warehouses. It's actually behind a warehouse,
and on the other side is a big concrete ditch.
Ugliness everywhere, but the cell phone tower looks pretty!

I took this photo early one morning in Orange Park Acres. It reminded me of this song by Rickie Lee Jones:  Horses. 

"We'll go riding on the horses, yeah. Way up in the sky, Little Darlin.' If you fall I'll pick you up."
