In Placentia, there is a fascinating little strip mall, anchored by this timeless Bargain Basket Market. I am astonished (and happy) that the original signage is still holding up as good as ever, and by the looks of the packed parking lot, business is doing well. Look closely, at the front of the store is a quarter merry-go-round ride as well. I wonder if they have 1953 prices inside as well. Sometimes time travel is easier than you think.

Ifthere were less SUVs, and more "Woodies" in that parking lot, I'd be able to suspend disbelief a bit more.....

But IS it real? Just look at those rays coming down from the cloud. Are you sure it isn't being beamed down from another dimension?
