Roller Skating is making a comeback in Orange County and at The Holiday Roller Skating Rink in Orange they still play Thriller and do the hokey pokey during their open public stakes. This is my daughter in her skates complete with pom-poms.
I've never posted more than one photo, but I felt it had to be done in this case.
I was invited to attend Villa Romano Green Farms' "Sapore Del'la Domenica" (Flavor of Sunday) event in San Clemente yesterday, and was beyond charmed by the array of Italian breads, wines, cheeses, honeys (there was mango honey!), kabobs, and olive oil tastings. Needless to say, I made sure to leave with a couple jars of that honey.
I think it's sort of criminal that the HB PD is located in such a wonderful old house. A family should be living there! (I tried googling the building and couldn't find anything---does anyone know the history of it?)
Going to Disneyland in the middle of Stormwatch 2010 seemed like a great idea...
If you look very very closely you will see a faint rainbow forming in the right sideof the sky. And I imagined at the end of that rainbow was my warm, dry living room. After this shot, we headed in that direction.
Things were bluer than blue in this Laguna Hills industrial park. We haven't seen much of our blue sky of late but alas, even the OC needs some weather now and again. Reminds us how good we have it 99% of the time.
I took this a couple months ago to document the construction at Disney's California Adventure park. They completely drained the lake to begin work on a new water show. I didn't known at the time that the big orange with it's swing ride inside would soon meet its end. RIP Orange.
