I imagine Disneyland must collect hundreds of these tiny little shoes kicked off in excitement by visiting toddlers every year. I imagine this is one of the reasons the gift stores sell shoes in all sizes.
A mainstay down at Laguna Beach is the fellow who brings his tropical birds down to the boardwalk area and allows passerby's to interact with them. He's one of the kindest souls I've come across, and takes delight in seeing the joy others experience with his flock....
Go Halos! Taken during the second game of the year. A game, in which the Angels lost, and the fans set a new world record for people at a sporting event wearing a Snuggie! I always wanted to get in the Guinness book or records!
I was out riding my beach cruiser along the Yorba Linda stretch of the Santa Ana River bike trail last weekend with my camera shooting for an upcoming art show titled "Drains to Ocean". I came upon this remarkably huge grated cover to one of the drainage tunnels coming out of the hills of Yorba Linda where the fires were last year. This is the detail (from above) of the hinge bolts, with the moss-covered chain laying straight out on the ground. Apparently there had been quite a bit of water from last week's rain as the heavy chain was stretched straight out just as it is here.
Little piglets at Centennial Farms in Costa Mesa. Is it just me or is that little guy smiling? Almost makes me want to switch to Fakin' Bacon...almost.
She holds a prominent position at a well-travelled place in Orange County. I'll buy a beer for the first person to correctly identify where she resides.......
I wonder what parties this attended. How many birthdays and family events it helped to document. Left here, on a dirty shelf in a thrift store in Orange.
