This broken replica of the statue of David lies on Cal State Fullerton's campus. It's said that it once stood tall in a cemetery in Whittier-- the story goes that a professor brought in the broken pieces after the 1987 earthquake rocked it apart. Interesting that the "perfect man" doesn't stand a chance against might mother nature...
I think what still fascinates me about Old Town Orange, is that you can still find buildings that were there nearly 100 years ago. The rest of OC seems to tear down anything more than 30 years old to build more cookie cutter, generic buildings that lack any real style. Let's hope this building stays around for a long time to come!
Sometimes when you fall down during a fast and furious hockey drill practice, it is best to just stay down for a second. Or a minute. Or a few minutes. This little guy was overwhelmed and he just laid there while the other soon-to-be Ducks swirled around him.
