Sitting at the PCH Chili Dog on Chapman on a warm Sunday afternoon eating a delightful Chili Dog with onions. In between bites, I looked up and saw a near full moon rising up above a palm tree blowing lightly in the wind.  Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon

There is a charming little strip of 'beach' found around the water at California Adventure. Those little foot prints are from and adorable family of camera shy ducks.

And yes, a cast member called one of them Donald.

1.23.11 Swap meet fun

Took my new Spinner 360 camera to the Golden West swap meet with my son (tall guy, long hair) and his friend. It technically does more than a 360 spin, since you see the mannequin heads in the shot twice. I developed this film myself, one of my goals in 2011 is to master developing color film at home. So far I haven't gotten it right, but the odd color/over development sort of gives it a neat look.

I was making dinner last weekend and noticed the light pouring in thru my windows.  It was just after sunset and the sky turned magnificient shades or pink, purple, and blue.  Taken thru the trees near my house.

Conformity. Uniformity. Fitting in.

Sometimes, there are those of us that, try as we might to line up neatly, fit in, and conform. We just can't quite do it. There is something below the surface that isn't quite noticable, but is there none-the-less. Something that feels as lonely as these tables when we even try.

Stepping out of line can be the tough part!

It looked to me like some wheeling and dealing was being done right on Glassell in Old Town Orange. To be honest, it was this woman's hair that drew me in.
