Every Saturday night durning the summer the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach holds a Butterfly Release Ritual out on their balcony overlooking the ocean. I wrote about it for my blog at The OC Register.
I snapped this photo right before the gloved-man lifted the lid and let the majestic Monarchs fly away. It was just breathtaking.
