These are the balloons at South Coast Plaza. They have become sort of an iconic image of Orange County, at least for photographers.
I had to lay down on the floor of the prestigious mall to get the photo. My five-year-old son didn't mind, he got right down on the floor with me.
I'm not the only OC photographer who had to get a shot of them, they have their own Flikr group: South Coast Plaza Balloons.
