I was trying to go around a traffic accident on Birch Blvd in Brea, when I stumbled upon it. Like a mecca, where all things well designed and affordable live it stood there proud and shiny and NEW. So new, it wasn't even officially open yet. I entered from the underground parking lot and at the top of the escalator I drank in the joys of brand-newness; new carts, fully stocked shelves and that new Target store smell that can't be beat. As I left, dizzy from the joy of this retail experience, I saw it...... This curious red wall with a circle opening. And beyond it? More new carts just waiting to be called up the majors.
