Cao Dai temple in Garden Grove For Polaroid week 2010 I went to this Cao Dai temple in Garden Grove. I've been here before, but never talked to anyone or went inside. This time a man was leaving but when he saw me, he asked if I wanted to go inside to take pictures, and he unlocked the door and let me in. His English wasn't too good, but he tried to explain the religion to me. I'd read about it previously so I could follow most of what he was saying. Everything in and on the temple is symbolic for something. It's a beautiful building.
Taken with a Polaroid Colorpack II camera on Fujifilm FP-100BW.
Detail of a graffiti mural in Garden Grove, CA Every so often this mural gets redone with something new. The wall currently says "Destroy All Monsters."
A few years ago I made a trip out to Memphis to check out Graceland. I don't think there was nearly as much memorabilia as there are is at Azteca Mexican restaurant in Garden Grove.
Makes me think of Mojo Nixon's song "Elvis is everywhere!" Because at Azteca... HE IS!
