This is a shot I took in our hometown of Orange.  I always love sitting by the fountain. On this particular day the flag caught my eye as it was blowing in the breeze. I thought this would be a great shot to share today as it is the 10 year anniversary since the 911 tragedy in New York City.   It felt patriotic and I am thankful to have a place like this to go and sit sometimes and reflect on what is important to me and inspires me. 

Remembering all of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. 

09.09.2011 - When Darkness Falls...

Walking by these pillars that frame the entrance to Chapman University Auditorium around sunset was nice but they really grabbed my attention in the true dark of night when light dramatically from below. The whole building seemed to be 10X taller now and the lines of the pillars really dramatic.

The 39th annual Orange International Street Fair in Old Towne Orange.

Sugary carb Mecca.  Abelskeivers, Indian Fry Bread, Funnel Cake, Mini Doughnuts, Rosettes, Churros, and Moneky Bread from Norway, Sweden, America, and Mexico booths along Chapman Ave and Glassell St.

Taken a couple years ago at the Orange International Street Fair.  It's going on all Labor Day weekend, so turn off your computer and go check it out.  Bands, beers, and food... how can you go wrong?

This is the corner of Chapman and Orange near the Orange Circle. 
Looks like we are already getting ready for the Orange Street Fair which is held every year during Labor Day weekend! 

7.30.11 The Bruery Provisions

The wall of wonderful bottles of craft beers at the Bruery Provisions shop on Glassell, just north of the circle.  Their interesting beer flights make it fun place to spend an afternoon.
