10.28.2011 - Orange Indeed

Very few trees in the Orange County area have leaves that change colors and fall to the ground. The start of the fall season is truely seen on trees such as the odd Maple tree, with its signature maple leaf turning all the shades of the sun before finally falling. In this photo, the blinding sun is rising over the San Mateo Creek as seen from San Clemente, Ca. -Any further south and it wouldn't be home.

08.12.2011 - Private Roads RULE!

After driving the past the Red Gate leaving OC on the Ortega Hwy countless times, I was finally able to get up there with some cool cars for a few photos. I rode in the trunk of my friends volvo with my trusty 50mm to get a few choice rolling shots. The private road leads to a private ranch community about a mile (as the crow flies) from the main Ortega Hwy and they host an annual 'Cars & Coffee' charity carshow to benefit their volunteer fire department.
